Payment Policy

This page explains how you pay on tendihealth.com, who handles the money, and what happens if something goes wrong at checkout.

What we accept

Checkout is handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal. Through them you can pay with:

  • Cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club
  • Wallets — Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
  • PayPal — your balance, or any card linked to your PayPal account

We do not take payment by check, wire transfer, cash on delivery, or any instalment arrangement other than one offered inside checkout itself.

What appears on your statement

The charge is described as TENDI or TENDIHEALTH.COM. Nothing on your statement names the product or the category.

When you are charged

  • The full amount is taken when you place the order.
  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract exists once we email you a dispatch confirmation.
  • Starting a checkout you never finish can leave a temporary authorization hold on your card. It is not a charge, and your bank releases it, usually inside 3 to 5 business days.

Prices and tax

  • All prices are in US dollars.
  • Sales tax, where it applies to your state, is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.
  • Shipping is free, so the total you see at checkout is the total you pay.
  • If your card is issued outside the United States your bank may add a foreign transaction fee. That fee is theirs, we neither add it nor receive it.
  • Prices can change, but never on an order already confirmed.

A compare-at price means what it says

Where a crossed-out price appears next to a product, it is a price that product has genuinely been sold at, not a number invented to make a discount look bigger. If we cannot evidence it, we do not show it.

Security

  • Every page of this site is served over TLS, so everything you type at checkout is encrypted in transit.
  • Card details go straight to Shopify Payments or PayPal, both PCI DSS compliant. Your full card number never reaches us and we could not store it if we wanted to.
  • Card payments may trigger 3D Secure, where your own bank verifies it is really you. If your bank asks for a code, that is the system working.

If a payment is declined

Almost every decline comes down to a mistyped number, a billing address that does not match the one your bank holds, or an automated fraud check on an unfamiliar merchant. Check those three, or try another method. If it keeps failing, one call to your bank usually clears it, we have no ability to authorize a payment from our side.

Order checks

Some orders get an extra verification step before we dispatch. If we need to confirm something we will email you. We may decline or cancel an order where fraud is suspected, where stock has run out, or where a price was displayed in error, and a cancelled order is refunded in full.

Price errors

If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price and you order it, we will contact you before dispatch and let you choose: pay the correct price, or cancel for a full refund. We will not quietly charge you the difference.

Chargebacks

If something is wrong with your order, write to us first. A message to Hello@tendihealth.com is answered around the clock and is very nearly always faster than a bank dispute, which locks the order for weeks and stops us from helping you at all.
