About Tendi
We make one thing at a time, and we make it properly
Tendi is a small company building precise devices for the ordinary problems people quietly put up with.
The story
Why we started Tendi
Look at what is on the shelf for something as ordinary as a skin tag, and you will find two kinds of product.
The first is the freeze stick in the pharmacy aisle. Read its reviews and you will find hundreds of people saying the same thing in slightly different words: it did not come off. The second is a nameless kit from a marketplace, sold by nobody in particular, with a photograph of someone else’s arm and no instructions worth the paper.
Between the two sits a gap. Nobody was making the careful version — the one with the right tip for the size of the thing you are treating, a light so you can actually see what you are doing, something to protect the skin around it, and a straight answer to the question everybody is really asking, which is whether they should be doing this at all.
So we made it.
Not to fix everything, not to promise miracles. Just to look after a small thing properly, before it turns into a thing you worry about.
Every box we ship contains a card that tells you what to treat and, more importantly, what to leave alone and take to a doctor. We would rather you closed this page and made an appointment than used our device on something that needed a proper look.
That is the whole company. One device, made properly, for a small thing you have been putting off.
What we hold ourselves to
Three things, and we do not move on them
How we sell
What you will not find on this site
Most people who find us have already been sold to badly at least once. So the list of things we have decided not to do is a fair description of the company.
- Before-and-after photographsThey are the easiest picture in the world to fake, and you would have no way of telling. Our proof is the specification and what is in the box.
- Countdown timers and “only 3 left”You are deciding about your own skin. Nobody should be hurried through that.
- Percentages we cannot sourceNo invented success rate, no borrowed clinical study, no badge we do not hold.
- Reviews we wrote ourselvesOur reviews stay empty until there are real ones. An empty space is more honest than a full one that is fiction.
- A founder we inventedNo stock photograph of a doctor, no lab we do not have, no year of research we did not do.
